DG 7: Grief Recovery with Laura Jack

Welcome to another episode of Dying with Grandpa. I apologize for the short hiatus, but we are back with new interviews from some of the most heart based professionals I know. Laura starts us off with the story of her mom’s sudden death and how it nudged her into grief recovery and transformational coaching.

Laura is a Grief Recovery Specialist who specializes in helping people find their light through loss. In this episode, Laura candidly shares her personal journey that demonstrates how one’s life can be transformed through death. She was only 25 when she found herself navigating through her mom’s tragic and sudden death. Eight years later we find her guiding others out of darkness and into their inner light. When asked how Laura came upon a career in grief recovery, she stated, “You don’t choose grief, grief chooses you.” For anyone who has lost a loved one, this is a sweet story of transformation, healing and hope.

If you or someone you know has suffered a loss, Laura has built “her home” on the internet with plenty of resources to help people navigate through the stages of grief and beyond. Her work is not just about recovery, though, it’s about transformation.
